Problem:
- Hard drive corruption caused active directory corruption.
- Tried to go into active directory recovery mode but it would let me, did a chkdsk on the drive and found 20% of the HDD to be corrupted.
Solution:
- Took the drive out and put it in an enclosure bay, backed up the data.
- Reinstalled Windows 2003
- Restored the data and users with exchange.
