I have been wanting to have an 0800 or a more public number for my customers to call me and though I would give Number Group a shot.
It took me 3 seconds to sign up and waited aproximately 5 minutes to get the numbers I wanted, the customer support is great and helped me choose the numbers that would be more suitable for my business.
Talking with them today they mentioned that they will be implementing an online system for you to check your balance and calls if you have subscribed for the 0871 or 0844 numbers.
So thumbs up to Number Group, I wish all services were easy and customer friendly like this company.

I previously had a number with this company and now no longer use it and went else where.
They used to be very good and I always got a chirpy lady on the phone who was very helpful.I then started to get a guy who seemed like he couldn’t be bothered to talk to me and that was if my call was even answered.
Customer service portrays a whole company and this company has done badly in my opinion.
I no longer use numbergroup

Ian its a shame, I think they have expanded quite a lot and there all types of people working in the company now.
I have always found them very useful.
Quite happy with, have suggested them to a lot of my customers

Numbergroup sues its customers over £14.05. Worst customer service – don’t answer their phones, don’t reply to emails.
Didn’t make any effort to contact me by email, phone, or post until I got a registered court Claim Form for £259.05 (over a £14 debt).
Avoid at all costs (and those costs could be huge).

I have got a number with this company and it started not working correctly, all calls get dropped. All I receive is about 85 missed call emails a day.
I have tried to call and email them, and haven’t received a response.
My suggestion AVOID THIS COMPANY, and remember cheap is expensive.
I have now spent hundreds of pounds to change my number on the website, letterheads, business cards, all because of this shitty company

I never had any problems with them, not with the above claim forms or even with phone having missed calls, their new web managed service is great as well.
Guest I hope you have your problem resolved by them.

Dear all, the post posted above from Guest (on May 18th, 2011 12:16) was from my secretary who was mistaking.
I can assure that we have had the best service with them, and the service which we had problems was due to our fault and nothing to do with Number Group.
I will always recommend Number Group, their service and prices are the best!
For any clarification call me on 07554 328 328 or email me mayer@yemes.co.uk

My objective opinion is that this is terrible company. Few months after using their number I discovered that the billing is incorrect and they charge for calls I never received. Lines often used to go down apparently due to some voip service problems. When I tried to move away from them they wanted to charge me more. Upon investigating I found that their director was convicted of fraud and banned from running a company. I see they have sued someone over £14, but I can only comment on my personal experience. Terrible customer service. You have been warned.

Have been with this company for a few months. Don’t get me wrong, it’s cheap but if you want fantastic customer service, speedy replies to email queries and the phone to always be answered politely by someone who gives a damn, then go else where.
It’s cheap so I suppose you get what you pay for
