Because the poem you referred to earlier also refers to Dad’s Army I am advised.
Because what she is serving in the poem is LAVENDER water (same name as the actor Arthur Ian Lavender)
And in the clue it says something like “to Arthur. Or Ian?”

PS Admin, can you please explain who you are saying “nicely pointed out” to in comment 8 above? I’m asking so I can read the original comment you are referring to here.

It indicates Private Pike in Dad’s Army, played by Arthur Ian Lavender. Pike being the predatory fish.
