$10,000 32nd Clue – I took back a mocha today without making little sounds

Category: 10 Grand Clues and Answersadmin @ 10:57 am

mochaClue: I took back a mocha today without making little sounds

Solution: Total credit for this one if for “RJ7″ from whirlpool, his way of thinking was quick and concrete, well done mate.

His post reads:

‘a mocha’ backwards without making little sounds = ahcoma

The little sounds refer to the sound ‘aha’ as in aha I’ve solved this clue.

subtract these letters from ahcoma and you’re left with ‘com’

So the url is definitely a .com

My thoughts for this clue were on a different track, I was thinking that mocha which is related to java was gonna be the compatibility of the browser with java and other plugins. But RJ7′s opinion is more valid than my thoughts right now :)

    Hi People,
I am a Dutch guy and also following the leads. Even though I can’t participate I like to watch eachothers thoughts and solutions, just for the fun of solving the riddles.
So if I may summarize; it’s a .com adress which had 4 words in it like safe, private and fast.
If you look at next link, there are keywords like secure, private, reliable, fast, easy and safe. http://www.microsoft.com/uk/windows/internet-explorer/features/stay-safer-online.aspx?tabid=2&catid=1
Could it be a website like http://www.safeprivatefast….com?
Does the clue of the fout brothers have anything to do with the first words meaning the same like safe and secure?
I searched these key words on bing but didn’t find anything. Or am I thing for a too obvious/simple solution?

    Good Luck

Ow and I remember seeing a post on silverlight. If you look at the website http://www.tengrandisburiedhere.com
you see in the right upper corner the option install silverlight.
I thought about the websites name; it must have the keywords in it. So when a press relaese is being made the key words are repeated in it so that the consumer associates these words in his mind with Internet explorer. Right?

Hello Gus and welcome to the site :)

I think we are still at almost the beginning of this competition so most clues are just saying what their new browser is all about.

The real clues should arrive quite soon near the end of the competition, as they wanna make it interesting and dont want someone to win it so quickly, the sooner it ends the less promoting they get from it, so the longer the clues last the more they get to promote it.

Ow I see now , it ends september 17 th. Thats a long time and too soon for the real clues indeed. I’ll keep following the blog..

Clue 33: In verb, know what is at 40.758 up and 73.979 to the left

What is at these co-ordinates is the Rockefeller Center, New York.

The verb in there is “center”.

Or it could be “fell” as in “to fell a tree”.

I’m going with “center” at the moment. Maybe we need to look at the center of the map in an earlier clue, as these are map co-ordinates in this clue. Haven’t got any further with this as yet.

  6. Rob says:

The center of Rockefeller Center is the statue of Prometheus. The horse with feathers is Pegasus.

(Radio City Music Hall is at the center too.)
