Step 1: Connect your device to the computer.
Step 2: Open the Sn0wbreeze app on your Windows comp.
(Note: that Windows 8 user will need to download and install Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5)
Step 5: Click on the “Blue iCon” to proceed and select “Browse for an IPSW”. Now select the relevant firmware you downloaded earlier (iOS 6.0.1 in this case).
Step 6: Choose the Simple mode option from the available list of modes Sn0wbreeze will show you and click the next button.
Step 7: Now you will need to restore this custom firmware to your device through the familiar iTunes method but first, the connected iOS device needs to be put into Pwned DFU mode. It can be done by using iREB option found on the top of Sn0wbreeze’s File Menu status bar.
Step 8: Just close Sn0wbreeze and open up iTunes and select the connected device from the left hand menu.
Step 9: After you have done that, Press and hold SHIFTkey + click the Restorebutton in iTunes. Now iTunes will ask you to select the desired IPSW file. Select the custom built firmware file from the Desktop (that Sn0wbreeze has already stored their) and let iTunes restore it to the device.
Step 10: This is a tethered jailbreak so you will also require to boot-tethered. Sn0wbreeze has already created an additional folder on the desktop callediBooty. Open it up, and Select the device you want to boot into tethered mode and hit the Start button.
Step 11: Follow the onscreen instructions on iBooty to enter Pwned DFU mode on your device and then iBooty will automatically boot your device in tethered jailbreak mode.

Many of you jailbreak your device to get Installous on your iphone to download IPA’s otherwise known as cracked appstore Apps.
Since the shutdown of Installous, there are other alternatives you can go through such as:
Appcake
AppCake is something we posted on recently. It’s one of the finest Installous alternatives that has gained popularity. AppCake comes from the iphonecake repo which is quite popular too. What makes AppCake a very good Installous alternative is the fact that the usage is pretty much similar to Installous so users of Installous would certainly find AppCake familiar.
vShare
vShare was formerly App VV and it uses pretty much the same resource as Installous. In a sense, it’s the same thing as Installous with only some interface changes that a few users would prefer over Installous. vShare requires that you download AppSync on Cydia – this means you’ll need to install “hackulo.us” repo. One great thing about vShare is that the community and the developers are as professional as Installous.
To Install:
Add http://repocydia.com to the repo
search for App VV or vShare
download and reboot the device
vShare will be on the springboard
Today Orange started rolling out the much anticipated and much diluted and not-so-left-looking-pretty* Android OS update for the Samsung Galaxy S3. This update is of-course Jelly Bean.
Queue Lights, Dramatic Sounds and much Oooo-ing and Arrr-ing. It has arrived.
Romania started receiving the update today, other countries are due to follow soon. Although according to other reports, the UK will receive it in December but we will wait to see how this pans out.
If you get the update, post here and let us know what you think, if you haven’t had it yet then keep checking Kies as sometimes it takes time to appear OTA (Over the Air) in some cases.
I personally want to get to grips with Google Now. What about you lot? what are you most looking forward too?

* after Samsung/Google release updates, the networks mess around with them and change the look and feel and then add alot of useless software to the install.
Every so often Apple bring out what they consider to be a ground breaking new innovation to the technological market. But this time they are very late to the table.
7″ tablets are now as common place as their larger predecessors and indeed some types of smartphone.
But is timing important? or is it about who does it best?
Apple sent out invites for their latest unveiling of new tech the other day and the date has been set for October 23rd, so less than a week and we will know for sure what Apple have up their sleeves for us.
for the most part it seems to be all about the new iPad 7″ but there are rumours of new retina display macbooks and quite possibly a re-hash of the Apple TV box.
But for now, here are my thoughts on the matter.
here is a rundown of what my suspected specs of the new iPad 7″ may be, and also I have lined it up next to the market winning Google Nexus 7 for comparison.
