They are mainly used at ISP’s for managing Bandwidth for customers (indeed this is what ISP’s use to tweak their connections so you are not able to get the full potential of your service).

Legal alternatives to cocaine, ecstasy and amphetamines that are sold online are the latest in a new wave of stimulants that could change the way drugs are bought and sold. The drugs are available to anyone with an email address and a PayPal account.

The fact that they are legal and that other stimulants are being developed could alter the whole drugs scene, according to research carried out by DrugScope, the independent information centre on drugs. People who have tested one of the drugs describe sensations similar to those of illegal class A drugs.

There has been much internet discourse about the new stimulants and two in particular: mephedrone – nicknamed “meph” – and methylone. The former sells for about £14 a gram, which is enough for five oral doses. It has many of the effects of MDMA, amphetamines and cocaine and users report intense euphoria, talkativeness and increased tactile sensitivity. It is described as being “two molecular tweaks away” from MDMA and crystal meth, and more closely related to cathinonem, the active ingredient in qat.

The drug, which is made in Chinese laboratories, is imported legally to the UK and sold online from British and Austrian websites or in shops that sell drug paraphernalia. It is often sold on websites as “plant food”. One site in the UK reports that it has just imported 2kg of mephedrone, according to tomorrow’s edition of Druglink, the DrugScope journal.

In the UK the average internet connection for business is 8mbit (if you are lucky).

From ADSL to SDSL, but as we all know the SDSL connections are quite expensive and not very reliable (since they still use the same type of card used on ADSL connections and are located in the same exchange).

For business I have always suggest admins to order leased lines if the company can afford it.

The ideal setup would be as follows:

If low budget then –> 1x ADSL 8mbit + 1 Leased Line 2mbit (merge the connections through a router that support load balancing / fail over connections)

If greater budget then –> 10mbit Leased Line + 1x ADSL (usually dont have to order an extra ADSL line since the leased line will give one automatically for backup purposes).

Leased lines have a 100% uptime SLA and are great if you are running huge backups and VOIP services (you really dont want to run VOIP services on normal ADSL lines).

If you currently have some free time on your hands and can do a bit of programming for some ideas that I currently have (1 big project that will generate good revenue and a smaller project which I have in mind which would be the first one we work on).

Once each project is finished and revenue starts pooling in, we can come to a deal as to a percentage of earnings.

The smaller project is easier to implement and would become quite popular (if we keep updating the program).

Second project is a bit more serious and harder to implement, it deals with the new technology that Windows 7 uses, so there is no rush to start programming it, although it would a good idea to start sooner rather than later.
