Hardware and software hackers (Research Associate level)
We are seeking hardware and software hackers who can help on current Distance Lab projects in the exciting areas of wearable computing, tele-health technologies, and sports over a distance. Successful candidates will also have the opportunity to develop their own projects. Appointments will be made at the Research Associate level. Applicants should have decent experience with a few of the following, and should be interested in learning more:
- a selection of modern programming languages
- user interface programming
- TCP/IP & various internet protocols
- Mac OSX and Linux
- electronics and PCB design
- microcontrollers, Arduino
- sensors
- wired/wireless interfaces
